How long does the appeal process in general financial assistance to take?
I have a question about how long it usually takes a call financial support to approve or decline during a summer session for the fall semester? In addition, the difficulty is to obtain approval, and what are some reasons you may get turned down the offer for the fall. I called attention to my mother that I was the main cause, it is now diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and drugs. I also spent through a difficult period with a deep depression and sought help from the school nurse for help. I also had problems marital steming not be home and to be with my mother while especially at night. I juggle my children and my mother, and the school. My Promotional suspension with SAP, is not sufficient for the 75% needed, I have a 52.99%, with an average of 2.45 degrees. When I wrote my appeal Yesterday evening, I wrote with honesty, and my goals for the fall semester, and also stated that I would not have much hours, and my mother is more stable to remain herself. What are my chances?
The appeal process is different for each school … Well, it depends. What I saw in general is the appeal process usually takes several weeks. My experience (I worked in an office FinAid) most students have been approved. I'd say your chances are good no doubt, however, depends even your school. My suggestion would be to call your financial aid office and ask when can expect to receive a response about their appeal because they can give the best answer. Do not worry, call and ask this question because it is a common issue and should therefore be ready to give an answer. Good luck!
